Q: How are classes arranged?
A: Classes are organized by skill level and age. We limit class sizes to 3 or 4 children per instructor.

Q: What ages do you teach?
A: We teach children as young as 3 and as old as 13 years old. However, we do offer private lessons at Felix Festa and can make special accomodations for any situation.

Q: How do I pay?
A: With the implementation of on-line registration we accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) and e-checks. We can also accept paper checks, but there is a manual processing fee.

Q: Where are you located?
A: Our office is located at 115 North Main Street, New City, NY. Our lessons take place at Felix Festa Middle School in West Nyack, NY and at WCC in Valhalla, New York.

Q: What should I bring?
A: Please bring goggles, towel and bathing suit. In addition, children with hair longer than 6 inches are asked to please bring a bathing cap. Note: Children with diapers will not be admitted into the pool.

Q: What levels do you teach?
A:  At Felix Festa we offer 5 levels: Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, and Advanced.
For children interested in joining the team, we offer a Pre-Competitive (“Pre-Team”) program that introduces and prepares children for the USA Swimming competition team. The Pre-Team is bi-monthly program that transitions swimmers from learn-to-swim to our competitive team by refining strokes and developing conditioning.

At WCC we offer 2 levels: Beginner and Advanced.

Q: How long are the classes?
A: Each class is 30 minutes long and each session of classes is about a month long.

Q: When are lessons offered?
A: Lessons are offered year-round, Monday through Saturday depending on pool availability.

Q: What is the temperature of the pool?
A: The pool temperature ranges from 78°-82° Fahrenheit.

Q: Do you offer refunds or make-up classes?
A: We do not offer any refunds, however under extenuating circumstances we will issue a credit, which can then be applied towards payment for a future session. We understand that schedules can be hectic and conflicts will arise. We will attempt to make accommodate a request for make-ups. Parents are REQUIRED to make requests for make-up lessons via email: lessons@condorsswimming. We will only allow make-ups if we can keep our instructor/child ratio at 3 or 4 children.

Q: Can parents interact with children during the lessons?
A: No, we ask that all parents remain in the spectator seating area and view from there. The Clarkstown Central School District and Westchester Community College do not permit parents on the pool deck.

Q: How will I know if lessons are cancelled?
A: In the event of a last-minute cancellation, email and text message notifications will be provided and a credit will be issued for that class. Cancellations will also be posted to the website.

Q: Do you offer any discounts for multiple children?
A: Yes, the third child, and each thereafter, will receive a 50% discount.
